Dear NACG Members,

Greetings from Secretariat!

 

Hope you all are well. This is to inform you that Children Asian Summit is going to be held in Bangkok from Nov 25^th to 30^th, 2019. NACG’s Chair Ms. Ayesha will represent Pakistan Chapter. SAIEVAC again, has proposed Pakistan chapter to send two child observers (one girl GCO and one boy BCO) to attend the summit representing the children and raising their voice.

 

This is to request you all to kindly give nominations for both GCO and BCO from all chapters. The representatives should be nominated on following criteria;

 

• Should be age between 12-18 years
• Should have basic knowledge about child rights and child violence situation in Pakistan
• Should have preliminary understanding about existing national policies, laws and international conventions regarding child rights
• Should have or able to arrange valid passport for travel
• Willing and have consent of his/her Guardian to travel and represent internationally

 

Please send the attached nomination forms after filling along with passport size photo and scanned first page of passport latest by Tuesday Nov 5^th, 2019. Provincial chapters are especially encouraged to send submissions from their respective regions. In the given timeline your urgent and prioritized inputs are highly anticipated. The basic explanation of the theme of the summit is also attached for your information.

 

Note: the committee will have right to select, qualify or disqualify candidate at any stage.
