Hello!

I am currently working on the draft edits of my YA contemporary fantasy novel complete at 85k words. While the first draft is not readable (as most first drafts aren't), the second draft is coming along nicely and I'm looking for someone to exchange chapters with and give regular feedback. My goal is to pursue querying this year. 

My novel is a lightly inspired Japanese folklore fantasy, pitched as Legendborn meets Avatar: The Last Airbender. 

Here is my log line:

When her sister's life is threatened, a teenage girl must follow a powerful magic wielder to a secret society of demon-fighting warriors and embark on a journey to control the dark magic within her; but when she learns her new powers are even more dangerous than originally thought, and the threat of having her magic taken away looms, she must prove her ability to control her powers before more innocent lives are lost.
