Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a critique partner(s) or beta readers. My current WIP is contemporary YA/NA and here's the logline:

After being forced to stay with her aunt in India during winter break, Ria finds love from the grumpy film student sitting next to her on the plane.

It's around 70K and I've self-edited it a few times but it's not totally perfect. I'm unagented and unpublished.  I'm mostly looking for someone who could help with the big picture and help understand if there are any loose ends, if the voice is engaging if the story is too stretched out and other storytelling things.

As with my writing, I like reading YA Contemporary. The most recent book I've finished is Darius the Great is Not Okay. A tv show that I drew inspiration from while writing is This is Us.

If it seems like we have similar tastes in storytelling or you'd like to hear more about my WIP leave a reply and we can discuss from there! :)))

Hello! :)

I am also looking for a critique partner to share the first part of my WIP with. It is a contemporary YA romcom, and here's a little summary of the story:

When Susie's senior year comes around, doubts about what she wants to do with her future are not the only problem she has to face. After her roommate drops out of their private boarding school to follow her dreams, a new girl is assigned as her dorm companion: Imani Young, her ex-childhood best friend, and the girl who broke her heart.

It's an LGBT love story, also around 70k (I'm still doing some edits), and I'm looking for someone who, just like you, could help me right some wrongs that I can't spot. Some of my favorite YA books include the To All The Boys series, any Jenn Bennett and Kasie West books and just about any cute, fluffy, YA story :)

I'd love to share some chapters with you and see if we click together!

Hi Rishika,

I'm Bhavana and looking for a critique partner too. My current WIP is YA/NA Thriller set in India and here's the logline:

Four college friends, having witnessed the kidnapping of their attacker, bury the crisis until a stalker blackmails them to reveal their secret.

I'm currently self-editing and hope to be done next month (Camp NaNoWriMo Goal). Right now it's 60.8k words long and once done I would like a fresh pair of eyes to see get feedback on the big picture elements.

I read almost any genre but my comfort zone is YA/NA fiction and non-fiction. I'm currently reading "Write Your Novel From the Middle" by James Scott Bell. My latest fiction read "The Great Gatsby" and before that was "One of Us is Lying"

I hope we can help each other out :)

Hey, I'd be more than happy to read and help you out with your novel! It sounds super interesting! We could exchange 5 chapters and if we think it's a good match we could continue?
