Hello All,

My book is about a Chinese orphan turned spy. He surveils his host family in America, as his host mother is an academic who is researching brain-computer interface technology--his organization is interested in learning more.

The work is very tongue-in-cheek, and more psychodrama than action-packed spy novel. It's complete at 180K words. (Yes, it's long. Would be interested in getting feedback about where to cut, if necessary. I'd also be willing to read either your very long work, or multiple works of yours, should we be a good fit. We can exchange work in a piecemeal fashion.) I do not have, and do not plan on looking for, an agent.

The last novel I loved reading was Mitsubachi to Enrai by Onda Riku, about an international piano competition. And the book that perhaps best describes me as a reader is Kazuo Ishiguro's The Remains of the Day. Please contact me via email. (Note: I'm not interested in romance, action, or horror.)

Thanks.

EL
