Hey all,

So I've been working on this novel for about a year now, and I just finished up with what I'm pretty sure was the third round of edits. I could be wrong though, the editing process has kind of been a blur. It's been through a couple of critique partners at this point, and I'm hoping for someone to give it a once-over before I start querying agents. Of course, if upon reading you don't think it's ready for that, please let me know.

My favorite books atm are Carry On by Rainbow Rowell and pretty much anything Rick Riorden, but I just finished with Magnus Chase and I think that's gotta be on the top of the Rick Riorden list.

Here's a summary of the novel:

Sali reed has wanted to be a sailor since she was a child. For two months, since Sali came of age, she searched for a job with no luck. Then, with the help of her best friend Robin, Sali finds a job. That doesn’t last very long, though. Before she can even complete her first day, Sali is kidnapped by a band of pirates.

She is given two choices.

Join them, or die.

But is being a pirate worth achieving her dream of becoming a sailor?

If you are interested just reply to this thread and we can exchange the first 50 or so pages to see if we are a good fit. :)

I would love to read your novel, I love pirates. I'm currently querying the only novel I've actually finished, so I don't really have anything to trade.

Sounds great Sarah! Your email isn't loading, so I can't send it, so if you could shoot me an email at the one I made this post with I'll send over my first 50. :)

Hi! This sounds amazing, I would love to read it! I'm fairly busy so I can't promise finishing quickly but would love to take a look.
