I like to write and read YA fiction, especially fantasy. I don't have an agent.
The last book I read that I loved was Jane Austen's Persuasion. I love her style, and I absolutely adore the way she talks.
The book that I feel epitomizes me as a reader---soooo difficult! I'll name one and probably experience immediate buyer's remorse. I do really love Robin McKinley's "The Blue Sword." It's a favorite that I revisit over and over. Her settings and characters are magical, and they feel so real.
I'm looking for partners who are addicted to good adventure/coming of age stories and who can tell me where mine don't work. I'm NOT interested in steamy romance scenes or gore and torture, so if that's your thing, please move on.
