Hi, I'm Emily looking for a longterm CP for MATTERS OF THE HEART is an 85,500 word rivals to lovers romance.

If it weren’t for that inconvenient hippocratic oath, Dr. Grace Hartley would have done away with her colleague and rival Dr. Theo Kang the Third a long time ago. With a personality as arrogant as his name, Theo has been top on Grace’s Most Wanted List since the first day of their cardiothoracic surgery fellowship. She makes do putting as much distance between them as possible. But her usual coping mechanisms become impossible when a clinical trial for a ground breathing new heart valve comes to their hospital and Theo’s her competition to lead it.

Stuck both collaborating and competing with her arch nemesis, Grace is determined to prove for once and for all that she’s the better doctor. But when a few too many margaritas at a happy hour for the trial put Grace in a less than professional situation, Theo just doesn’t use it against her? Stunned, Grace is convinced that it’s a ploy to get her to lower her guard. Only, Theo seems less and less concerned with the trial and more and more with her?

Torn between fixing other people’s hearts and her own, Grace now has to decide what, and who, is most important to her as she realizes that maybe Theo isn’t the man she thought.

I am currently a healthcare consultant with a biomedical engineering background in Los Angeles, and this is (hopefully!) my debut novel. MATTERS OF THE HEART is for fans of Ali Hazelwood and Abby Jimenez.
