I am finishing up my first novel and getting ready to query (and could use some support in the process). This story is about a marriage balanced between two equal partners as they find their identities again after having two young children and figure out how to reconcile their original vision of the family they always wanted to build.
I am also starting the next book about a prank war between the shop workers and office workers in a struggling company.
I recently read Erasure by Percival Everett, which was fascinating, and have been diving into Kevin Wilson novels as well. Chuck Palahniuk, who writes about much grosser things, was my original inspiration for exploring longer formats by keeping a playful rhythm and toying with simple textures of language.
