YA magical realism/thriller with enemies-to-lovers

Hi! 

I'm currently editing my novel (aiming for 80k ish) and need some fresh eyes to spot things that don't make total sense, and general feedback. It's a dual pov between two girls.

Blurb (in progress): 

Songhye’s sick best friend is killing herself to become a ghost. To save her, Songhye must draw magic from the scraps of her childhood love, Cassidy-Blaise. Only he’s been missing for nine years.

When Danbi’s kidnapped, she wakes up in a strange mansion, surrounded by these cuckoo people who are convinced she's their long-lost Cassidy-Blaise. Sure, her face is beaten purple and unrecognizable, but she’s not a boy. Still, everyone’s fooled. Everyone except awful, beautiful Lance. He just wants her gone.
