"As she strives to fulfill a loved one’s dying wish, Kai is confronted with the truths of her sheltered childhood, the darkness in her blood, and the lies her parents told her. Lies that, if revealed, could bring a nation to its knees."

Hi! I'm hoping to find a few like minded critique partners to create a helpful, supportive, and encouraging group of authors. My novel is only at 37,000+ pages at the moment with either a duology or trilogy somewhat planned out. I'm finding that I'm wanting to bounce ideas off of other writers, but have no such people in my daily life. I also love the idea of helping others develop their ideas and writing as well!

All this to say - if you like magic, adventure, and romance with a dash of female empowerment, reach out!

The last book I read that I loved was actually Butcher & Blackbird, but it was something out of the normal for me! My all time favorite is Throne of Glass, but I love the Fever series as well.

Hi Cora,

Your project sounds so interesting! My current WIP is very much in the vein of A Court of Thorns and Roses and I would love the opportunity to talk over some ideas. I'm with you, I don't have anyone to talk to and work out the roadblocks in my plots.

I write mostly YA/NA fantasy, usually with a romantic subplot, and casts of strong, diverse, and usually queer characters. I read This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladwell and Paladin's Grace by T. Kingfisher and enjoyed both! Butcher and Blackbird is on my TBR and I'm excited to read it!

Let me know if you'd like to chat further.  Hope to hear from you soon!

Hello Cora!

I’m super interested by this flavour of fantasy romance. :) I just posted my own “Seeking Writing Buddy” conversation with a lot more description about myself, and I’d love to hear whether you think we’d be a good match!

Best,

Alex

Hello, I'm Lalo and I'm currently working on a YA fantasy with elements of romance that centers around the fae and souls. I'd be interested in exchanging chapters with anyone in this thread in an effort to find solid critique partners.
