Hello, fellow writers.

I am seeking feedback for a how-to writing book I plan on publishing soon. The name of the book is: “Before You Self-Edit: An Author's Writing Journey.” The manuscript is formatted for a 6x9 paperback, has around 295 pages, and has about 48,000 words. Like many how-to books, it has images, tables, and lots of white space.

 This is the book blurb:

If self-editing intimidates you, you are not alone. Editing your own work is a difficult skill to master. A skill that goes beyond spelling, grammar, and punctuation. The bottom line is, you cannot edit well if you do not know what you are looking for. Having a firm understanding of the writing craft is essential.

This book lays out writing craft principles to help you become a better self-editor. The author defines each writing principle with short, to-the-point descriptions and examples. These writing craft principles will help you become a better writer and help you develop your author’s voice. The better writer you are, the better self-editor you will become.

 Please Note:

I am not looking for professional beta readers, proofreaders, or editors.

 Thanks,

Amilcar (Aumi) Hernandez
