Hello!
My name is Alyssa, and I'm a relatively new writer. I'm am currently working on a project that I started a few years ago, Bleeding Silver, sitting at about 20k words out of the 90k I hope to finish at. I have been searching for months for long term partners to offer feedback / critiques and have only found one steady one.
This is a mix of medieval fantasy and romance, my first time experimenting with these genres.
Some of my recent reads are "The Song of Achilles," ASOIAF, "Fourth Wing" series, and a few others.
Here is my rather... rough summary!
When the sun is high over the horizon, Liza Greyworth is nothing more than the color she bleeds. A poor Earthblood without a trade, ruled by powerful Redbloods with fire in their veins. Once the light of day fades and the moon rises, she takes on the name of Lady Hemlock, a lethal assassin paid by the nobles she despises.
After being caught in the midst of a hired hit, Liza is chased throughout the woods by a masked noble. Held at knifepoint, she's given an ultimatum; kill the prince of Athius, or watch her family die by his hand. Going forward, she is only deceived once again to be sent on a much larger mission with much more at stake.
I am much better at navigating discord rather than email, but whatever you prefer to speak on, I will adjust!
