Hi fellow writers!

I’m a writer planning to self-publish a spicy sci-fi omegaverse romance. I have gone through several rounds of drafting, and I’m currently working on my final one. I’m at a point where I would be absolutely ecstatic to get a fresh, honest pair of eyes on just my first 2,000 words to make sure it’s engaging and hooking the reader.

I’ve never had a critique partner before, but I would love to find a fellow writer who wants to exchange honest (but kind) thoughts.

My premise:
A beta enters the Game to find an Alpha who can help cure her sister of brain cancer. This is a world where some Alphas have powers, and the cure-all power is coveted and incredibly rare. She has to win the Game and impress those who watch her from the Eye in order to win the reward and save her sister. But she is on constant high alert while playing the Game because, for her, it feels like someone is working really hard to eliminate her.

She comes in disguised as someone else because she’s hiding from a man who is also watching from the Eye—a man she stole money from. Only, she didn’t realize he is the biggest pop star on the planet…and her biggest celebrity crush.

About my book:
My manuscript has a lot of fun rom-com elements in the first half, but it is definitely spice-heavy in the later half. (It’s also a reverse harem with 3 males and 1 female, so please keep that in mind!)

What I read & love:
I read romance of all types: comedy, paranormal, contemporary, fantasy, and sci-fi. Some of my absolute favorite tropes are reverse harem, forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers, and omegaverse.

A few of my favorite authors/series: Rebecca Quinn, Ali Hazelwood (currently listening to Mate on audiobook), Jennifer L. Armentrout (From Blood and Ash and Flesh and Fire series)

What I’m looking for:
Right now, I’d love to just do a low-pressure swap of our first 2,000 words to see if we are a good fit for giving each other kind (but honest) feedback.

Oh, and also someone who can give and receive great energy (maybe an emotional support writing friend?)

If this sounds like a good fit and you want to come on this crazy (but real) rollercoaster journey of being an author with me, please reach out!

Aana ☺️

i'm not a typical fan of romance, but this sounds interesting. Put me down as a back up if you like. :-)
