Hi everyone!

My name is Anneli and I'm looking for someone to try a first chapter swap (or three) with me to see if we're a fit. I love reading anything with romance. My favorite books are Six of Crows, Cruel Prince, The Raven Cycle, Caraval, and many more. Even if your book sounds nothing like these I'm still open to trying! :)

My own book's in the editing stage. About 76k words (that I'm trying to get above 80). What I usually need most help with is spotting what doesn't make too much sense, in case I'm moving too fast or not explaining enough. Other than that I'd love to hear what you think from a reader's perspective, and then of course feedback (about whatever comes to your mind).

It's a dual pov YA, and also contemporary fantasy that I'm trying to make enemies-to-lovers, hehe. My blurb is very much a work in progress: (TW: suicide ideation)

Songhye’s sick best friend is killing herself to become a ghost.

To save her, Songhye must draw magic from the scraps of her childhood love, Cassidy-Blaise. Only he’s been missing for nine years—until now.

Meanwhile, Danbi wakes up in a strange mansion after having being kidnapped. She’s surrounded by these cuckoo people who are convinced she’s their long-lost Cassidy-Blaise. Sure, her face is beaten purple and unrecognizable, but she’s not a boy. Still, everyone’s fooled. Everyone except awful, beautiful Lance.

He just wants her gone.
