Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on a novel that is my interpretation of a more realistic version of a melodrama/soap opera. I am hoping to get it published traditionally after I'm finished.

I don't have a full blurb yet, but what I'm working on so far is this:

Sometimes revenge is planned. Other times the opportunity presents itself when least expected. After a chance encounter at a country club, Crystal Dawson decides the time is right to get back at the person who once destroyed her life—and secure her self-declared destiny. But revenge is bittersweet when lies and misdeeds are closing in with every step. With enemies piling up and the high life on the horizon, Crystal will do anything to keep it from slipping through her fingers, no matter who it impacts. To her, this new life is one she’s always been meant to lead, but is revenge really worth it in the end?

I'm looking for someone to give me feedback on my characters, the setting, and plot points. The main character, Crystal is a mix of Brooke from Bold and the Beautiful and Erica Kane from All My Children. She's sort of an anti-hero? And while she's the main character, there are other characters that have their own storylines, so there's that.

I typically read horror, thriller, mystery or drama novels, but I'd be down to swap almost any genre other than nonfiction.
