CORE is dedicated to creating a space within PES for scholarly
conversations around the intersections between race, ethnicity,
philosophy and education.
PES-CORE is a place to encourage the building of an intellectual
community and the sharing of ideas:
* to work through core philosophical, educational or critical problems
that intersect with inquiries on race and ethnicity to work in and
through a critical lens of race and ethnicity studies that intersect
with philosophical methods
* to work through these central problems and articulate intersections
with other social justice, equality, and identities
* to post relevant job openings
* to discuss pedagogical or curricular issues around teaching themes
of race/ethnicity/philosophy/education
* to discuss profesional and institutional matters that may effect the
success of practitioners in these area or may promote dissemination of
work
PES-CORE encourages you to become part of our growing community by
joining the listserv, and becoming active in this important work.
