We currently do not have a protocol in place re: holding tube feedings for certain medications. I usually monitor their levels (ie. phenytoin, TSH) before I will suggest holding the TF. I'm just curious as to how other facilities are managing medication/enteral feeding interactions? Are there specific medications (ie. antibiotics) I should definitely hold TF for? Thank you!!
