Preface:  Yesterday I was pulled into a conversation at Bike Forth and someone said that Davis ought to have a site where people could post group rides.  And I though, "Hey, that sounds like a good idea!"  I know different organizations and groups of riders have their own listservs and Google groups and online ride calendars, but there's nothing that brings them all together, and there isn't any good place to post rides that aren't associated with any particular organization.  So I threw together a web site.  It isn't too pretty and it has its share of bugs, but right now I just want to get something out there so we can see if it actually works.
