Here is a link to SFBC's Bike to Work Day, as well as their bike buddy
program. The bike buddy program is a great way to show your friends
who much fun biking can be. The Bike to Work Day does a great job
raising awareness of biking as transportation, and that's a message I
can support.

I signed up to volunteer to staff the various stations and help with
set up. I'd live to see some people from the group there.

Anyhow, I hope to see you on BTWD this year.

Best,
Reama

Also, here's a great article on driving green.

I volunteered at the Battery and Market Street Energizer stations on
Bike to Work day. I even brought my son. We had a great time, doling
out snack, information and good cheer to cyclists, as well as talking
about the Bicycle Coalition's mission. I've done quite a bit of
volunteering in my life, and I must admit that BTWD was the most fun
I've ever had as a volunteer. I was able to meet many, many cyclists,
as well as talk to drivers and pedestrians who were curious, about
cycling in this City.

I even ran into a couple of people who've joined us on Critical
Manners rides.
