Dear all,
We are excited to announce the Introduction to CRISPR for Ecology and Evolution Studies course, which will be held online from 13 to 16 October.
Course website: https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/course53/
This course offers a practical introduction to CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, with a focus on its applications in ecological and evolutionary research. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on sessions, and project discussions, participants will learn how to design and implement CRISPR-based gene knockout experiments—skills that are transferable across many biological systems.
Flexible online format: Live sessions, hands-on exercises, personal project discussions, and access to all materials via GitHub and Slack.
Daily schedule: 3–8 PM Berlin time.
Ideal for students, researchers, and technicians working in ecology, evolution, or functional genomics.
Best regards,
Carlo
