Hi,

I've been trying for several days to use the online version od CRISPRAnalyzeR.
However, after some seconds after opening the page it turns grey. The tutorials seam to work. However, when I upload the fasta files and Sequence files they do not load. I am using both the tutorial data and my own data but doesn't load.
Moreover, when clicking the Upload and check files it seams to be blocked.

I hope somebody can help me with this.

Best regards,
Maria

Hi, I have exactly the same issue. @Maria, do you have a solution yet?
Otherwise, here is some information. I have tried on a Win7 computer on Chrome, Firefox and Internet explorer. All of them have the grey phenotype. I have had a similar thing at my previous job on a different website, and then it meant there was something wrong with my own firewall settings. So I am also going to try that. In the mean time, if anyone knows the solution, I would be very happy to hear about it!
Best, Robbert

Small update, I have removed all security settings, but even then the website turns grey and cannot be used. I have also seen that the authors of the tool have not responded to the various previous issues, and in one thread the advice is to go find yourself another tool. There are several around, so sounds like a good advice.

Hello,
I have the same problem. Has anyone found a solution for the website turning grey?

Dear all,

I am Florian, a Senior Scientist in Michael Boutros Group. I am now working (when I find the time) to fix some of the web-sevrice's issues. Meanwhile I've set up an alternative web host:

You can use CRISPR Analyzer like on the original page here. But this is temporary and the original page should soon be online again.

in addition I tested the version available via docker run -p 8000:8000 boutroslab/crispranalyzer:latest and theat worked as well. Maybe you also want to give that a go?
