Found via NANOG, network engineer with 15+ years experience, sysadmin on unix/linux for 20+ years, ham with not too much recent experience (call sign VA7 BPD). My career has been mostly beneath the radar, so small/silent is my MO. :-)

Located in Halifax, NS, Canada, no local crisistelecom group here. Available via many means (email/IM/phone/cell/skype).

Have some very interesting out-of-the-box ideas on how to quickly restore links to PaP, depending on local/on-site tech capabilities, ability to get cooperation from BTC (bahamas), and off-the-shelf high-end hardware (which may already be available).

Also have lots of experience "driving" generally-capable remote-hands folks to bring up links on pretty much any kind of hardware. Boot-strapping from low-tech to full Internet is my specialty.
