Unfortunately, I will not be able to join the call tomorrow due to some
family activities. I'm definitely interested in helping out with
infrastructure issues and would be glad to help out in whatever way
makes sense. Since I won't be there to introduce myself, I'll say that
you can find basic info about me at:
http://www.linkedin.com/in/danyork and http://www.danyork.com/
http://www.voipsa.org/About/board_York.php
I write a good bit online on a number of different sites:
http://www.danyork.com/blogs.html
The most relevant may be http://www.disruptivetelephony.com/ where I
write a good bit about Skype. I've been working with online systems
since the mid-1980's and worked with most operating systems out there.
I look forward to helping out in whatever ways I can.
Best wishes with your call tomorrow,
Dan

I believe OSL has everything they need from me for standing up the full staging site. If not, I can have a call directly with their team to give them any specific remaining items from the current servers.
For future IWG meetings, I can rarely make mid-day weekend sessions. It would be better if we could do an evening like Wednesdays at 8 EST or something. Perhaps alternate with weekends of many can't make weekday nights.
Thanks,
Andrew
A few things I think are needed for skype /irc or any other collaboration tool:
Stickey notes like forums- this would help with the constant stream of instructions
Logging- this way new people can read what was done and what is needed
Split conversation logging- have sub conversations logged
Moderator- this is more a process than a tool issue, but it would be great to have moderator rules etc.
Colour coding for the various teams- mapping -red, developers etc. This will help people know each other's core team. It would help with the stream of conversations in the main room.
Keywords list- more a process but it would be awesome to have sections blocked off. Humanity Road uses bright shiny stars. I would like to see this augmented with moderator commands to edit sections for context.
Ok
More later and, Deborah, I promise to doc it somewhere
Have a good meeting

I'd like to join the skype chat -- I've added Deborah as a contact,
but she appears to be offline.
Did I totally miss the boat on this?
Thanks,
Evan
