Hey all,

Makoto Inoue pointed out that there's a mediawiki extension to do translations (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Translate ), when i was discussing potential translation efforts with him today.  Neither of us have used it, but it seems worth evaluating and trialling to build multi-lingual versions of the CODs we put together.

Does anyone in the infrastructure group have any experience with this extension?

Cheers,

-Ted

Nope - not me! But we can look at doing a trial installation on the
migration trial installation and give it a go!

I would prefer that before we install anything new on the test-
mediaWiki, we ensure that appropriate testing has been done on it to
support the official move to OSL, this is our critical path.
Otherwise, it might be difficult to distinguish between something that
broke b/c of config or b/c of new. Please, everyone test wiki so I
can signoff on this task, then once we do, it should be open to 'play'
with:

Thanks, Deborah

Yes, of course Deborah - sorry!

You are right. We must complete the testing of the migrated wiki as is
before trying any thing extra. Thanks for highlighting this!
