Hi all!

As things are a bit slow here at the moment (everyone swanning around
at Social Media Week events prolly ;-)) now's a good time to pass on
a wiki tip or two.

One of the tricky things with the MediaWiki wiki software that we use,
is trying to create tables. Luckily there are a couple of tools
available to help.

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Helferlein/VBA-Macro_for_EXCEL_tableconversion
is a VBA macro that enables you to create your table in Excel and then
convert it to wiki markup. I've used this and it is great for
retaining formatting but does create quite bloated markup.

There's a few more other tools for Excel (and other formats) to wiki
listed on http://bit.ly/fEjliY

Hope this helps!
