CrisisCommons PWG Conference Call: Wednesday March 9th 20:00 EST

Hi Everyone,

The Project Working Group will be having it's first call of 2011 on
Wednesay March 9th at 8pm EST.

Tentative Agenda:

Please feel free to add anything else to the Project Working Group
page on the Wiki if you feel it needs to be addressed. Right now our
first priority is to figure out what the most important tasks will be
for the next six months and then we can focus on a longer term Project
Strategy.

1. Project Template: CrisisCamp Toronto developed a project template
for RHOK and could be something we can use for the greater
CrisisCamps.

2. CrisisCamp in a box: this is an internal project but would give us
a chance to work on something and develop a process and tool to help
the CrisisCamp community and infrastructure groups.

3. Project Catalog tool: (Infrastructure and Thom from CrisisCamp
Boston have both brought this up as a need and could be our first
priority).

4. Methodology and Project life cycle- This is where we can begin a
discussion around project life cycle after a CrisisCamp is over, and
talk about sustainability, cataloging and follow up.


Call for Volunteers:

At the global CrisisCommons call I'll be putting out a call for
volunteers as well as a request for a co-lead. If you are interested
in helping to lead this Working Group or know anyone who would be
please let email me your interest and any questions about what this
role entails.


Wiki Gardening:

I will be be starting to update the wiki and contacting people with
projects from November 2011. If you would like to help with this,
please let me know. We have not had much luck in the past with people
responding (as after a CrisisCamp there is disengagement) and so I
would like us to consider this when we discuss project life cycle.
