We (London) rejected a listed project from the CrisisCommons list last
week because we couldn't trace its provenance (it involved children,
which is a very sensitive subject). I'd hate to have to do that
again... What sort of checking do we do on the projects being
requested, i.e. can anyone edit the projects page and add a new one?
On a separate note, it's getting difficult to work out which projects
to put new effort onto, and there are large overlaps between some of
the projects being listed. Would there be any milage in considering
the project list as a collection of parts of a larger "kit bag" of
tools that can be picked up and used in different stages of an
upcoming (or in the case of Haiti ongoing) disaster.
