hello to other CrisisCamp coordinators in Europe

Some of you may remember me from organizing Boston CrisisCamp and
being a city lead there until the end of May. Some of you also know, I
have moved from Boston to Vienna about 6 weeks ago.

After initial period of settling in new country, job and everything
else, I would like to connect with other city leads in Europe and
learn about plans for the near future for CrisisCommons/CrisisCamp
Europe. While I am new to Vienna and my German is for now very
limited, I hope there will be an opportunity to create a CrisisCamp in
this city as well.

I also wonder if people on this list know about recent announcement
about plans to restructure the Sloan Foundation grant and make the
funding more decentralized. I am not sure if this will be applicable
to non-US based CrisisCamps but if anybody is interested a conference
call is planned for Thursday, July 28th at 5 pm (Paris/Geneva time).

My name is Elena, from Italy, and I participated to the Crisis Camp Europe in Paris last may, where I met also Heather.

With other two Italian participants, Marco boscolo and Francesco Ciriaci, we are planning to organize a Crisis Camp europe Italy in late october.

I am interested into Sloan Foundation Programme and will be glad to participate to the call conference on 28th.
