Hacks/Hackers Hackathon: Making geolocal apps using OpenBlock

This has been forwarded to me from a another user group.

A local meetup group is organizing a Hack-a-Thon to help build out
OpenBlock, which is a local data aggregation tool that helps connect
communities with what's going on around them. It's sponsored by
Hacks/Hackers, which is a media technology user group, and the Knight
Foundation, which funds a lot of news innovation.
