Hi everyone,

I feel like it's time to get the local CrisisCommons/CrisisCamp community back off the ground, but we really need at least 1 or 2 more people to help with organization. Please let me know if you're interested in helping with any of the following things:

1. CrisisCamp for Pakistan: short term, high effort commitment to get a CrisisCamp together to support relief efforts in Pakistan.

2. CrisisCommons Boson: long term, low effort commitment to start and run a full chapter of the CrisisCommons here in Boston.

3. CrisisConference Boston: medium term, medium effort commitment to organize an unconference to bring together tech-savvy volunteers and local emergency/crisis/development professionals to build relationships and kick around ideas (in typical unconference fashion).

These descriptions are intentionally short, to keep this email short. I can't do all (or maybe any) of these by myself, but if there's interest, I'd like to get together to discuss what we'd like to do and how to do it. If you want to do help, but aren't sure what or how much you can do, please let me know that, as well.

Thanks,
Thom

Thom,
I had started to wonder / think about getting a CrisisCamp going for
Pakistan sometime in the near future. Thanks for getting ball rolling
on this.

I'm interested.
