Again, we are building a siple change detection widget, based on the
ESRI FLEX tool, as per:
http://resources.esri.com/arcgisserver/apis/flex/index.cfm?fa=codeGalleryDetails&scriptID=16566
with the simple "swipe" tool found at
http://resources.esri.com/arcgisserver/apis/flex/index.cfm?fa=codeGalleryDetails&scriptID=16566
This immediately will allow us to enlist volunteers and trusted
partners to look at pre-and-post imagery of all kinds - the main thing
SPIDER is involved in. These polygons themselves need to be grabbed
from the simple POST message of the FLEX viewer, and captured as
PostGIS geometry, that in turn can be presented as either an ESRI REST
service, or a WMS layer.
Once captured, we can just view geospatial content like any other node
in Drupal, with:
http://drupal.org/project/mappingkit
A description of SPIDER's use of CCK type for tasking satellites, and
CRM, is:
http://maps.geography.uc.edu/~cgn/SPIDER_mapping_arch doc
We will be having GIS Corp volunteers soon that can help with the ESRI
SDE - Drupal integration; Rob met the main architect for the Geoportal
while in Bonn.
One system we will need to be compatible with is:
