Yes I think it would be valuable to invite them and have them present on an update on any of the standards as EDXL-HAVE was last time.

OASIS invites Sahana Software Foundation to attend a free, one-hour webinar on the Emergency
Data Exchange Language (EDXL) suite of standards including the Common Alerting
Protocol (CAP). The webinar will explain how the EDXL
standards work together to enhance interoperability and information sharing
capabilities in the emergency management and response domains. Best practices of
EDXL standards implementation will be highlighted. An interactive technical
discussion and opportunity for Q&A will be included.

Who should attend?

Anyone with an interest in interoperability and information-sharing within
the emergency management and response domain including:

 

Ø       Emergency managers and responders interested in improving communications/information management

 

Ø       Implementers seeking to identify relevant technical standards
