Hi,

Our new intern, Sam King, is working on tools to help with interoperability testing and validation for PFIF.  We were considering building them in Java or Python, and see possible arguments in favour of both.  If you're someone who might be using these tools to test your systems, do you have any reasons to prefer that the tools be in one language over the other?

Thanks,

I think Python would be an easier language to work with and especially
modify as it is a scripting language. Such tools would definitely be
valuable to help us independently test our systems compliance to
standards such as PFIF.
