Help please,
Monika (Boston), Deb (Chicago) and myself (TOheather) have been tasked to divide up and complete the 1st main iteration of the CCRSSA project for this weekend. This project has been on the project backlog for some time. I think we can divide it up into STAGE 1 delivery and STAGE 2 delivery. The goal is to deliver STAGE 1 this weekend.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that the CCRSSA delivery is fairly close.
(NOTE: this is not at all the UN Spider project. We need to keep on track)
Chris Penn: are you available to guide us or lead us? I know that Roger is unavailable. (*waves*). Anyone else? Pascal?
Mark: can you please help us on Saturday and/or get us access/teach on how to edit the existing form?
We really need some help from the current team to either work with us on Saturday or give us a warm hand-off. I am willing to take phone calls to get this info in advance if you are unable to attend on Saturday.
SATURDAY PLAN:
CALL TIME: Saturday, February 13, 2010 11:00 ET On the CCRSSA conference bridge
NEED: One LEAD project manager from either current CRSSA team and/or from one of the cities to guide the action plan (To be confirmed by 8pm Friday, February 12, 2010. Next all city conference call)
TASKS for Saturday:
1. Review the complete CRSSA wiki pages. ALL cities before the call.
2. Make a list of: MUST have (STAGE 1), NICE to have (STAGE 2) (hopefully this equates = able to deliver part of it) We might do this crowdsourced on a group call.
3. Divide each city teams into the following parts:
a. DEV: back-end develop team: help to work with Chris /Mark or whomever can help us with the code (if required)
b. ORG:input team: build next iteration of RSS form, integrate current feedback from wiki, work with form created by Mark.
c. EXTRA RESEARCH: General team: rss feed checking and verifying
I hope that I am not overstepping by writing this email. All of us want to see it live and do its magic.
Is this a realistic plan of action? Any information will make it all shiny and moving forward.
Thanks,
Heather (TOheather)
