Payday 2 No Gloves Mod

I really find the third person glove model disgusting to look at so I wanted to create a replacement. Due to how Payday 2's models work any mod that edits npc_criminals_suit_1.model is incompatible. Characters not in this file like Clover, Bonnie, and Hila will be affected too. This affects every single heister with rubber gloves, even the ones you and I don't like. Assume incompatibility with any male heister replacers. Permissions are open, if you want to make a change and ship it as your own on modworkshop feel free provided you credit me properly. As of Version 1.8 I am very satisfied with the mod. Having resolved every issue the mod itself introduces as well as many vanilla issues, I consider this mod in a complete state. That, however, does not guarantee that this is the end of the journey. In the future I may include Joy if I find a suitable fix for her.
Additional Notes
This mod additionally solves a lot of issues with the vanilla models. It reduces clipping on the ICTV on male characters and completely addresses it on the female characters. Other issues such as weighting problems haven been changed too. I have made my own subjective embellishments to Hila's model. I gave her shirt cuffs, changed her facial proportions to what I believe is more accurate to her likeness, and morphed her body shape to look less horrible. These changes are not what OVERKILL intended, but what my eyes prefer.
Aside from Masks, Payday 3 also offers quite a bit of options when it comes to gloves and suits. While some of them are just recolored versions of the original outfits, you can still show personality by taking the right one. Dressed to kill, right?
Outfits and Gloves are available in the vendor tab under the tailor. Just like masks, they don't provide any tactical advantages if you don't consider aesthetic advantage to be one. Outfits can be bought with cash while gloves are bought with C-Stacks.
Payday 3, the next installment in the popular heist series, is due to release on September 21, 2023. Much like other AAA titles, the co-op shooter will receive a variety of additional content via pre-order bonuses and several special editions for those who purchase the game.
Regardless of which version of Payday 3 players purchase, they will receive the base game (which costs $39.99) and the Trifecta Loot Bag pre-order bonus DLC. This bonus includes cosmetic items in a black and turquoise color scheme, such as the angular Venomous Verdigris mask, Cotton Stripes gloves, and Obsidian Glitz suit.
Payday 3's Silver Edition costs $69.99 and will include the black and chrome colored Dark Sterling mask. It will also come with a six-month season pass, which will unlock two heists, as well as tailor and weapon packs. The specifics of what these heists and packs contain have yet to be announced, but it will likely be the same ones included in the Syntax Error and Boys in Blue DLCs releasing in Winter 2023 and Spring 2023, respectively.
Payday 3's $89.99 Gold Edition will include all the content in the aforementioned Silver Edition, but with a 1-year season pass instead of 6 months. The Gold season pass will therefore unlock four heists instead of two, and presumably more tailor and weapon packs over the additional 6 months, likely the same as those seen in the additional The Land of the Free and Fear and Greed DLCs releasing in Summer and Fall 2024. At launch, Payday 3's Gold Edition will also include the Golden State gloves and the Statue of Liberty-inspired Skull of Liberty mask.
Those who purchase Payday 3's Gold (either on its own or as part of the Collector's bundle) or Silver editions will automatically be given access to the game three days before its release. According to the official Payday website, those who preorder the standard edition will not be locked out of getting Silver or Gold via an upgrade "once Payday 3 releases," meaning that they may miss out on this early access, but be able to access the season passes and masks after September 21.
Payday 3 will also be launching on day one on Xbox and PC Game Pass, which will likely make it easier to entice a group of friends to join in co-op from launch. Despite its inclusion in the Game Pass subscription, those who are keen to get their hands on it early will need to buy either the full Silver or Gold editions, however. A standalone upgrade similar to the one that granted Starfield players five days early access on Game Pass doesn't seem to be available, with the only option to upgrade seemingly being the aforementioned ones that will be available after the game's launch.
Regardless of which version of Payday 3 players purchase, there is expected to be plenty of content to dive into at launch. If the previous Payday games are any indication, there will be several DLC packs with new characters, heists, cosmetics, and weapons - potentially inspired by other popular IPs like Payday 2's John Wick and Scarface packs - released in the years that follow.
