When we measure how far apart 2 pitches are, we use cents. The distance between two pitches that is a half step apart is divided by 100, giving us a distance of 1/100 for every half step. This is the professional accuracy you get when you use the ProGuitar Tuner.
The default preset is a 6-string guitar in standard tuning. Though, you can choose from many different instruments, such as ukulele, bass or banjo. You can change both instrument and tuning under settings.
Each string will light up in red or green depending on if you are on pitch or not. A small arrow indicates if you need to raise or lower the pitch of the string to get to the desired pitch for your tuning.
If you click on the white area to the left of the strings you can change settings for what kind of instrument you want to tune (standard guitar is the preset) and what kind of tuning you want (standard guitar tuning is the preset).

If not, I'm just going to make one. I'm an iOS developer, as some of you may know, so if there isn't a tuner app and you'd like one, please tell me some nice features that you'd like the app to have?
Talking Tuner is accessible and seems to be accurate. I can get within a few cents of matching a note between strings with ear tuning, but the precise tuning can make a noticeable difference. Before that I used tuning forks as a starting point, an E for guitar and A for other instruments like ukuleles. It turned out my A fork was a couple of cents off when I checked it with the app.
Worst assumption I've ever heard. I agree to disagree on this as some musicians have perfect pitch, such as myself, but not all. So saying, if you're a musician, you don't need a tuner is just plain false. I know a lot of musicians who use tuners and while, I don't, I'd rather be around people who use tuners so we're on the same page as far as tuning goes. You, (sur,) neeeeeeeeeed to educate yourself on us musicians more and don't say shitty things like this! So sick of people coming in and thinking they know everything. Are you a musician yourself? Have you been around the music industry enough to know? No, Nay? Then you have no room to talk! I'll call you out again if you say stuff about musicians that are non but lies. Okay, getting back on topic, Gotta look but there's also an app where it's a tuner and a metronome all in one.
Having a hearing impairment does stop me from having perfect pitch or being able to tune with ears only. Even using harmonics is problematic. so give it a try I had to tweak it a little on input volume but very happy with it.

My opinion is only my opinion.
Disadvantage of any guitar tuner:
You won't tune your classical guitar ideally.
An exception exists however.
If you have a very expensive guitar, then maybe.
You can tune your guitar very well.
But if you have an usual guitar underlying classical one.
You won't be able tune this girl very well.
OK, First time you have tuned your guitar.
In a half hour you will be taking your tuner again.
In fact the guitar is distuned very fast, moreover if you are using new strings.
Then you need to take tuner again and again.
Though it is enough to make a little tune of one string, for example.
But if you take a fretless guitar or any frettless instrument like any kind of violin you won't be able to tune your instrument correctly.
Though I can be wrong, you have a powerful tuner and an ideal guitar with ideal strings.
But as for me... I have an usual classical guitar not expensive, but a very suitable for playing classical music using braille notation.
And if i need, however, any sound sample for tuning my guitar, for example, I use garage band. And no need to use any guitar tuner.

I wrote a review of Fender Tune which you can find in the AppleVis iOS App Directory. It gets a B for accessibility, but does the job for standard tunings as well as other tunings such as drop D, drop C, DADGAD and so on. VoiceOver will announce whether to tune up or tune down and plays a tone when the string is in tune. I will have to give Talking Tuner a try.
as for tuning with your ears, maybe you're right in a way, because I also have perfect pitch, and I don't use a tuner most of the time, but I think there are some situations where a very very subtle difference exists and thus you need to use a tuner.

As for me, it's been said, I don't use any tuner.
If the guitar isn't ideal, you should tune this being accordingly the classical music.
For example, you play a music and you see the music is built with tertia or quinta or octava.
Then for best sounding you have to test two sounds with a need interval.
In general, it is not topic of htis discussion. So .. I am silent. And I am ready to agree with other users.

I'm making a guitar tuner for iOS with Objective-C.Due to the fact I'm Beginner I'm struggling a bit to gather all the resources and information about it. I know the theory like ( correct me if I'm wrong ) :-
