The Plot of Dashavtar
The plot of Dashavtar is based on the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu, who is believed to descend on earth whenever there is a decline of righteousness and an increase of evil. The film narrates the stories of these avatars through the eyes of two children, Aarti and Aditya, who are kidnapped by some criminals who want to use them as hostages. However, they are rescued by Narad Muni, a celestial sage who can travel through time and space. He takes them on a journey to witness the glory of Lord Vishnu's avatars.
The film begins with Matsya, the fish avatar, who saves Manu, the first human being, from a great flood that destroys the world.
