Guys,

I've sent a link to a document listing all donations made to our NRF page so far. I think we should take the time and send a note (or at least an email) to each and every person who has donated. Ideally, these notes should come from people that know the donor personally (especially when the donation is directed to somebody in particular). If everyone can look through the list, I've tried to list the "recipient" of each donation when it is explicitly stated, otherwise please put your name in the column as "contact" wherever you know a person (it will mean a lot more to your family friend if the note comes from you than from some random person). After a couple of days I will take all of the unclaimed people and assign them randomly to try and even up the number of notes everyone writes - this could be a great way to kill some time either in flight or in the hotel!

Many hands make light work, so thank you all in advance for chipping in!
Bryan

What we can do (just an idea) is have a photo taken with all of us at the World champs under / by the world rowing championships sign

and something like "we want to thank YOU for sending us to the world rowing championships"

etc etc

what do you think

Sounds great to me - I also feel like it would be worthwhile to add a little personalized note, at least on the ones where someone in the boat knows the donor well. We'll also need to get addresses to make it work. Anything on that front, Michael?

Unfortunately, the only information that the NRF takes down is their email address so we might have to resort to electronic letters aka emails :/

I definitely agree with the picture.  A hand-written note goes a long long way, so do that as much as you can.  Michael, could you get the email addresses on that spreadsheet, as well as dollar amounts?  If it's too much of a hassle don't worry about it, but it would be helpful

Two documents attached: exported Excel spreads of the donations that were made to the entire team, and then those made through my page.  For some odd reason, it is only giving me the e-mail addresses for those made through my page (which isn't all the donations obviously).  The team page has all the donations and amounts but unfortunately no e-mail addresses.
