@EDraven2010 May I suggest you make a lore-friendly driving school livery ( maybe it could say something like "Los Santos Driving School" It would also be cool if there was two versions. One like this mod and another one similar or exactly the same but with the exception of a little sign on the roof. Something like this: =1280957298750 )
@Number1GojiFan Hi, sorry I've only just noticed your previous comment dated the 10th July! There's no way to get notifications unless the name is tagged in like your last comment, I wish they would change that! I will look into making some lore friendly liverys for you :-)
@EDraven2010 No problem. Thanks, man :D. Really appreciate it and I'm looking forward to them. Like I said before it would be cool to have two different versions. ( both could have the same livery) One could have a little sign on the roof (advertising the driving school, informing other drivers that whoever is driving the vehicle is a learner/beginner) and the other version could just be the livery and nothing else (similar to this mod).
The only car that made the final cut was the Toyota Prius. We ditched the rest and kept the best because maintenance costs are incredibly low, the gas mileage is incredible, and they last! We had Priuses drive easily over 200,000 miles and still run well. My other cars? Well, not so much.
Another way to save on new driving school vehicles is to join the Driving School Association of America (DSAA). As a member, you can enjoy discounts on insurance, plus save on merchant services and car buying programs.
When determining how long to keep your driving school vehicle, the #1 priority is safety. In fact, safety is paramount. You never want to push the car to run longer than it should. By doing so, you are risking the safety of your students and opening your driving school to potential liability. If in doubt, pull it out!
From my own experience, I can keep good-looking, properly maintained cars on the road. I fully expect to get 150,000-200,000 miles out of them because we maintained regular maintenance schedules. I have even teamed up with a local car wash. For mentions in blog posts, I received a stash of free car wash coupons for my fleet. If I can do this, you can too.
Magnets are temporary and cheap looking. Car toppers shout pizza delivery. Your driving school vehicle is your best marketing tool, so why not take full advantage of it? Think about it for a second. Your car is a moving billboard that travels through every corner of your community. You want it to look GREAT and promote your driving school to potential customers.
About four years ago, we started creating our brand image by selecting specific PMS colors, fonts, etc. This image was integrated into our website, in all of our online and print communications AND on all of our cars. I found a great printing company that developed a fantastic wrap for our driving school vehicles. And guess what? Our cars STOOD OUT.
Sometimes referred to as "Tessa's Driving School," Right of Way is a government licensed business established to help those that run into trouble with their drivers licenses. Whether students have an excess of points from infractions, or are new to driving entirely, this school can help get them back on the road safely. The school also offers a course which is part of the city's expungement program.
The making of a driving school logo design was a fun act and great experience for FullStop. The client wanted an eye-catching logo that would stand out in the crowd and could be read from a distance. The Fullstopers (as we like to call ourselves) came into action and set course for a modern and chic brand identity for Coco Driving.
@TheRemy Hey man, I have several questions. One, I was just wondering if you've updated/fixed the Polo ( made the dials work, fixed the other issue)? Two, is it possible to not replace the store and just download the vehicles? Three, could you make a lore friendly livery ( maybe something like "Los Santos Driving School") or simply make another version of this current one where the words are in English and not in German ( so it could say "driving school" and other stuff like that in English)? Lastly, could you turn the vehicles into add-ons?
@Number1GojiFan Hey.. Answer One: No i haven't fixed anything at the Polo because i don't know how to do it because my English is to bad for learning to work with zmodeler3. There are so many Functions and i didn't found any german Tutorials that helps to work with ZM3 :-(
Two: You simply have to unpack the ".oiv" File with WinZip or WinRar. Inside is a File named "assemblies.xml". Open it and youYou simply have to unpack the ".oiv" File with WinZip or WinRar. Then you find all Files, inclusive the Files emperor.y.. (C63) and emperor2.y.. (Polo)..
Three: Yes i can do it, but it takes a little while because i don't have much time for modding right now. When the Summertime is over i have enough Time to make it, so be patient..
And the last one: No, i can't make Addons. Maybe you can Search in the Forum for someone who is familiar with creating Addons.. perhaps ask @CSQ574 .. He obviously knows this..
@eschengrund Danke..
The D.T.S. reduces the grip of any desired wheel, enabling specific scenarios within your curriculum. Mounted on the tires, the rings alter the coefficient of grip, allowing drivers to experience either or both understeer and oversteer.
I recently attended the Easydrift 5 day Master Instructor Course and it was an excellent experience. As a tactical driving instructor for various elements of the DOD and LE community, I found the training to be exciting and relevant for all students.
I have been an EVO (Emergency Vehicle Operator) Instructor for approximately 6 years, for both in-house training with my department and for Utah P.O.S.T. (Utah Peace Officer Standards and Training). The EasyDrift program was a word of mouth referral and to say the least, this training went above and beyond my expectations. The detailed information provided in this course was very specific to the operator and the capabilities of a motor vehicle, or the lack thereof. The instructor was very knowledgeable and through his expertise and the practical training, I consider myself a much more confident driver and instructor. This training has given me information to build on for the next several years. This has already been implemented in my direct department, and hopefully will be in other departments within our city to mitigate crashes and liability.
I have been in law enforcement for 11 years, and as the lead instructor for my department, I have always thought I was an above-average driver. However, EasyDrift not only taught me to be a more skilled and safe driver in ways I didn't know were possible but also instilled techniques to provide better instruction and how to establish a curriculum for the rest of my department. More importantly, I was given a path and the tools and resources necessary to progress my driving skillset going forward. This product is revolutionary in its simplicity and efficiency of training. I am able to train a variety of vehicle dynamics while maintaining safe speeds and limited spaces while adjusting for various degrees of difficulty. Thanks Louis!
The class was much more than I expected. We learned a lot, the product is amazing and has so many more uses then we even imagined. The instructor was one of the best I have seen in action and made the weeklong class fun and interesting.
Very valuable. I have been instructing EVO for 16 years. The DTS rings bring a training option that is critical with the added bonus that the students really enjoy it. Numerous Utah agencies have begun using the DTS rings including POST and Highway. Highly recommend you attend the training so that you can experience it for yourself and bring the option back to your agency.
I had the opportunity to attend the 5 day Train the Trainer master certification instructor course and I highly recommend this course to any EVO instructors. The knowledge and skills you learn from this course will prove to be beneficial to your department and bettering your EVO program. I know without a doubt that I am a much better driver after finishing that course. I can't recommend it enough!
The Easydrift's Driver Training System is used by a wide range of agencies. Some of our most prominent users include law enforcement agencies, as well as professional driving schools and first responder academies. It is well recognized and used in the special effects (FX) movie world as well.
We are looking for a patient, enthusiastic driving instructor to prepare our students for their driver's tests. The driving instructor's responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons that promote students' theoretical and applied driving skills. Driving instructors also communicate with students to ascertain which of their abilities require further development.
To be successful as a driving instructor, you should maintain excellent communication with students at all times. Ultimately, a top-notch driving instructor will tailor their instruction to meet the needs of students, while still meeting targets set by the driving school.
Over the first two days you learn the basics of car control, initiating the drift, drift angle, holding/carrying the drift, linking/transitions, drift lines, vehicle setup, 3-turn slalom, long radius turns to perfect linking corners and what to expect when you attend a drift event. This training closely mirrors our 2-Day Drift School.
If you have your own helmet we ask you to bring that, helmets need to be SA2010+, we will have some loaner helmets on hand as well. We do ask that students are comfortable driving a manual transmission, it will improve your experience. Our one-day rally school can also serve as an introduction to manual transmissions.
