400K on Saturday 9/26

Next Saturday we have a 400K on the calendar. 

The ride will start from HH at 6AM and be the usual round trip to Baton Rouge. 

Lights and reflective gear will be required for this ride.

For anyone not up for the 400K, there is always the Sorrento 205K perm which would allow you to ride with the other riders for the first 100K of the course.

If that is still too much there is always Crab Trap!

That actually looks like fun. Might have to bring my urban assault bike ( full suspension mountain bike) for that one. Maybe make a crap trap run to finish out the day??

Full suspension will be handy if it goes down that stretch of Rampart St,
for sure. Right now it's dug up for the incoming streetcar line. :)

Tell y'all what, it's gonna be sweet having the entire length of the Avenue
all to us cyclists.

I think I will pass on this ride. Last time I rode in the city (for bike naked) the pot holes and rough streets made the trip no fun.
Dougie, we can certainly plan a Crab Trap for that weekend also. You & Laura are more then welcome to stay in the casita.

Have to say - the city has come a long way in laying down safe, smooth bike
paths. And the city still has a long way to go. I'm very familiar with all
of this route and yes there are some sections that will be a little rough.
