I am very pleased to announce the release of version 0.7.3 of
Creoleparser. While only a minor release in number, there are a major
amount of new features. Lots of additions to the api, but no changes,
so upgrades should be painless.

There is now a simple way to add support for custom inline markup -
like emoticons, WikiWords, and more - to your wiki. You just need to
know regular expressions (not even!) and use the new “custom_markup”
option when creating your dialect.

Macros are now easier than ever as they can be added without providing
a “macro_func”. Just place them directly in the “bodied_macro” or
“non_bodied_macro” dictionaries. Many of you will be able to transfer
your existing macros directly to the new system without any changes to
their code.

There have been many other improvements, and a bug fix. Please see the
full change log here:

Cheers,
