This serial is the best, incomparable one I saw in my life. The actors, script, dialogues all are simply best which lead to lessons for ethical, pure life. No part of life is devoid of useful instructions of Mahabharata.

It is the best TV serial forever. I want to salute to the honourable TV producer B. R. chopra. I pray to God to give long life to actors and him. I appeal to every human to see and learn from the epic Mahabharat to build a peaceful life.

Hi thanks for the lyrics although for your information the title track is been written by Pandit Narendra Sharma who is renowned musician, lyricist and is responsible for the tulsi ramayan sung by mukesh available on saregama records.

Mahendra Kapoor, the very popular Indian playback singer, whose career spanned five decades in the industry. He was an integral part of BR Chopra's popular Television saga Mahabharat. Any episode of the epic show was incomplete without a 4 line verse in Mahendra Kapoor's voice, summing up important situations occurring in the episode.

Mahendra Kapoor's collection of songs extended to 25,000 songs in various regional languages, including notable and memorable hits like 'Chalo Ek Baar Phir Se Ajnabi ban ayen hum Dono' from the film Gumrah, 'Neele Gagan Ke Taale' from the film Hamraaz, and in various language. Interestingly, both these songs are also from B.R. Chopra films. It is also known that Mahendra Kapoor's unforgettable patriotic songs 'Mere Desh Ki Dharti', in Manoj Kumar's film Upkaar became iconic. Below, we bring to you a rare video of that has captured the on-going recording for one of the verses for Mahabharat.

You can see singer Mahendra Kapoor along with music Director prepping up for a recording. They can be seen discussing the pitching of the verse. As you can see from the video, a lot of people were involved in making the music for this great epic.

Here is another rare Youtube video, in which Mahendra Kapoor is singing the Mahabharat title song. It is always said by the devotees and the fans that to make B. R. Chopra's Mahabharat famous, the music played an important role. A fantastic song that is beautifully sung by the legendary Mahendra Kapoor. Watch this video here-

In the year 1972, Mahendra Kapoor was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India & the National Award. Mahendra Kapoor was born in Amritsar but soon moved to Mumbai. Mahendra Kapoor has also sung & covered almost every variety and genre of songs such as Patriotic, Romantic, Bhajans, Qawwalis, Naats, etc. The "MAHABHARAT" title song has been a considerable feather in his already crowned cap. Watching Ramayana and Mahabharat with your family was a ritual followed every Sunday in the late 80s and early 90s. The shows brought the country to a standstill and now, a Muslim man's rendition of the title song of Mahabharat has won the hearts of thousands of people.

The video has gone viral on the microblogging platform, garnering more than 1 lakh views and over 6,900 likes. Netizens loved the man's rendition of the song and were impressed with his pronunciation.

A third user posted, "Irrespective of his religion or dress. His voice & pronunciation is just amazing." Yet another added, "Absolutely loved it; reminds me of childhood days when we used to run back home to watch the episode and get relived on hearing this music."

On September 22, several law enforcement agencies raided the Popular Front of India (PFI) offices across the country. Over 100 leaders of the PFI were arrested. Later, the government banned PFI for five years for allegedly having links with terror groups.

Meanwhile, a video has gone viral on social media linking it to the PFI ban. In the viral video, a Muslim man with a thick white beard can be seen singing the iconic Mahabharata title track. While sharing this video, people on social media claimed that the viral video is after the ban of PFI.

During the initial, we used InVid's Keyframe Analysis tool to isolate the keyframes of the viral video. We then conducted a reverse image search on the keyframes and came across a report of The Indian Express dated 23 September 2021, in which similar footage can be seen. The title of the report reads, "'The beauty of India': Muslim man's rendition of iconic Mahabharat title song goes viral." According to the report, the Muslim man was singing the title song of BR Chopra's 'Mahabharata' in the video. The report mentioned that it was shared by former election commissioner of India S.Y. Quraishi.

The same video was shared by other media outlets like The Quint, India Today, NavBharat Times, IndiaTimes back then. It is to be noted that none of the report mentions any linkage of the viral video with PFI. We also found the tweet done by S Y Quraishi dated 20 September 2021, with the caption "Beating the stereotypes!"

Our investigation shows that the viral video has been available on the internet since September 2021, while the government banned PFI in September 2022. The video has nothing to do with the PFI ban. Hence, the viral claim is false.
