Oneof my range sessions was a dreary Michigan spring day with a steady drizzle of rain. For most people, it would have been a good day to stay in and skip the range day. I decided to head out and shoot a few magazines through my P320 to see exactly how well the grip texture does once things are drenched in rain. For this test, I decided to try out the Wilson grip module both in my wet hand as well as with gloves on. Both times the grip module gave me a really solid purchase on the firearm and I had no issues keeping a firm grip on the handgun. Out of all the P320 aftermarket grips I have tried, the Wilson Combat P320 Compact grip module probably offers one of the biggest bangs for your buck on the market today.

Over the course of a month, I decided to carry the Wilson Combat P320 Compact grip module installed on one of my P320s and see if the grip texture was abrasive or if it was a good option for daily carry. The compact size allows you to still carry a 15-round magazine that fits flush while having a smaller footprint to conceal on your body. One feature which really surprised me was the fact they specifically designed the frame to fit into a standard P320 holster which is a huge plus.

Out of all the grip modules on the market, I have to be honest and say the Wilson Combat grip module offers the biggest bang for your buck with the overall fit and finish. The high-quality polymer design with a full-blown MSRP of $67.95 makes this grip module one of the best in its price brackets and genuinely one of my favorite grip mods available on the market. Add in the ability to carry in any standard P320 holster and this thing is a true winner to me.

What do you guys think about switching out parts on a P320 and making it the best possible firearm? Is it best to keep it 100% factory or is it ok to switch things on such a modular pistol? Let me know what your thoughts are about it down in the comments below. If you have questions about the Wilson Combat grip module or firearms in general, feel free to shoot me a message on Instagram @fridgeoperator, Stay safe out there!

I have put two 320's together using Sig parts but Wilson grips. These grips are fantastic! Other than my hi powers, these are the best feeling handguns I possess. The grip is far from being abrasive but provides a solid gripping area for complete control. I purchased one weight module for my .40 configuration but found it to be negligable for recoil reduction or added control. The 9 mm pistol with 3.6 inch barrel is soft shooting as any I have fired.

The modularity of Sig pistols is really awesome. They've brought on of the big benefits of the AR platform to the handgun, and no other manufacturer can touch it at this point, even though it's been out for years.

I ordered my Wilson Combat P320 grip thru GrayGuns because they had inventory. The customer service was/is fantastic. I appreciate the follow-up emails of order progress/shipping/delivered. This effort builds trust and confidence.

The WC grip is all that so many say it is. Beautiful ergonomics, better texture, nicely shaped beaver-tail and nice mag release. Recommend this upgrade 100%.

I think an improvement would be to add a little more palm swell to the Wilson., As nice as if feels it does feel a little thin in the palm area. But compared to the factory grip the Wilson is a vast improvement

I purchased a RXP and after several day of shooting found two problems. As a lefty I have never had to reverse the mag release I just use my trigger finger but the shape and location of this particular release cause excessive wear on my middle finger so I reversed the release but my thumb did not quite reach it. I have very wide hands but vert short fingers. I found the sculpting of the Wilson grip to fit me perfectly. The other problem this grip addressed was the lack of grip texture on the factory grips. Most of my handguns are steel frame with aggressive checkering and I felt the stock grip just too slippery.

All in all I am very pleased with this product and ordering and shipping was fast and easy.

This is my first combat module for the sig sauer p320 x c. The grip looked very nice and texture felt really good. It took me several attempts b/c the combat module was supper tight. I finally got it in and looks very aggressive. However, it was about 1/8 of an inch bigger (wider) than the original grip. I also have the sig sauer p320voo1 with the cut slide and the grip is special from sig. Both sig and combat grips looks really nice. I have not shot the new combat grip yet but I am sure it will do fine. I have optics on both pistols both shoot extremely well. I am a huge fan of the Walther pdp/ppq b/c of their amazing grip and trigger. These sigs are right there with the Walthers, the triggers on Walthers are still the best IMO.

Feels like a much better fit than the OEM Sig module. Texture is great and only took a few minutes to swap out the FCU. Been to the range with both grip modules and definitely liked the WC the best. Customer service was excellent as well. Ordered on a Sunday, it shipped Monday and received it on Thursday.

This Wilson Combat Grip Module is simply awesome. Just as explained and very fast shipping. Have ordered a couple different ones for different guns and am very happy with everything from Grayguns. Thanks guys for exceptional service and products.

Description: Wilson Combat Sig Sauer P320 Compact Grip Module, No Manual Safety. Manufactured from standard black or tan polymer, these Wilson Combat compact no manual safety grip modules are produced for the Sig Sauer P320 Compact pistols chambered in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG calibers. Loaded with top of the line features, these grips incorporate design ideas from champion shooters and tactical trainers such as an upgraded high-cut 1911 style beavertail grip tang for smooth draws, enlarged & integrated magwell for fast reloads, textured and overall ergonomics to the grip, and the Wilson Combat starburst grip pattern. These grips are perfect for your next pistol build, will go great with a new slide, and boost your sidearm's functionality/performance.

The impressive modular capability of the SIG-SAUER P320 is why it has become a favorite with practical shooters and it's thoroughly tested design will be the official US Military sidearm for many years to come.

Wilson Combat has now reengineered the P320 grip frame to optimize its practical shooting potential. This all new molded polymer grip module will enhance your grip and improve recoil control. Wilson Combat's significant improvements in shape, texture and overall ergonomics will give your P320 the superb feel of an expertly hand sculpted custom gun with a simple grip change.

Wilson Combat's fresh look at the P320 grip module incorporates the suggestions of tactical trainers, champion shooters and firearms experts into the final product that has a look that is unmistakably "Wilson". Wilson Combat believes it is the most practical, comfortable and stylish P320 grip available and the ideal choice for practical shooting or defensive handgun use.

It was the first handgun to have the serialized portion of the firearm be the fire control unit. Capable of near endless customization, the FCU can easily be swapped into different grip modules, either from SIG Sauer or other brands like Wilson Combat and Icarus Precision. For enthusiasts, this design makes the P320 one of the most easily customized pistols available today.

Just like we mentioned before, part of what makes the P320 such a unique pistol is its grip module. Unlike other handguns where the serialized part of the gun is in the frame, the serialized portion of the SIG P320 is the Fire Control Unit (FCU) itself. The FCU also makes it easy to swap out the grip module on your pistol.

With the safety removed, use your flat prying tool to push the pin back into its original position. Now, push the delete bar in place of the safety lever until it clicks into position. Once secured, it has been successfully installed.

Installing the FCU into your new P320 grip module is just as easy as taking it out of the old one. Insert the FCU so that the guide ears for the slide are seated snuggly. You may need to apply slight pressure on the trigger to get it to seat into place. Once in place, pull the trigger slightly to set it firmly in place. You could use the soft end of a gun mallet to gently tap it into place.

We mentioned earlier how the SIG Sauer P320 comes in full, carry, compact, and compact sizes. But what are the differences between them? They actually change the look and feel of the firearm quite a bit. Allow us to break down the specifications of each available size of the P320:

The P320 Compact uses a shorter slide and grip. It has a 7.2-inch overall length with a 3.9-inch barrel, and it also has a standard capacity of 15-rounds. The overall size of this pistol is akin to a GLOCK 19 and other compact pistols, making it a good choice for concealed carry if you want a smaller form-factor.
