In order for me to learn, I need to write things down. I need to reflect on my learnings, document them and then hard code them into my brain. Rather than keep all the nuggets to myself, I decided to share out the learnings that I mined today during the amazing Employee Resource Group conversations held in honour of International Women's Day this year. So glad to work for a company that empowers employees to create spaces for storytelling and sharing.

1. Key component to inclusion and realizing ROI from D&I is identifying value in diversity.
2. Understand your brand and how it affects your decisions and behavior.
3. Know your brand, what does your brand say about you? What do you want it to say?
4. Women we need to self-promote. It's a requirement of being a woman and opening space for other women. Followed by Aha moment and a reminder of one of Ruth Bader Ginsberg's central themes: WE need to be the change we want to see in the world.... Our young people need role models.
