Many people have some sort of confusion between what is on their
credit report, and what can be removed from their report.
The fact is, anything can be removed from your report that is
inaccurate, erroneous, or obsolete.

That includes:
* Late Payments
* Charge-offs
* Profit and loss accounts
* Bankruptcies
* Foreclosures
* Short sales
* Inquiries
* Collections
* Repossessions
* wrong owners
* incorrect names (or aliases)
* incorrect social security numbers
* incorrect addresses
* past due accounts
* accounts with balance limit exceeded

Of course, this comes with the big disclaimer, you can only remove
things that are not provable by the company providing the information,
or if you have proof showing otherwise.

There are other "tips" and "Strategies" to get accounts removed for
other reasons that usually include the fair debt collections practices
act and suing the creditor with an attorney.
