I had checked the details under the Reports in our dashboard. However, I could only see the participant names, their time of entry and exit. It does not show how did they enter the meeting - via laptop or mobile.

It looks like your account does not meet the listed prerequisites. Because of this reason, you cannot access the Dashboard meeting page as the appropriate permission to access the Dashboard Meetings page is not assigned to your account. You will need to reach out to your Account Owner or Admin to get the necessary permission.

Max provided guidance on the alternative way you can get the necessary information. To reiterate, you can use the List Meeting Participants Dashboard API to obtain the device that a participant joined the meeting with. For past meetings, make sure to set the type parameter to past:

Hi I just used my new asus vivobook to teach bmy regular dance class yesterday. I had 4 on screen participants, 12 in class, just like usual. but it sounded like i was underwater! I tried everything obvious via zoom settings etc and have played around with it today. makes no difference. its not a wifi issue as video was working well signal was great.

Hi @Libelulaluz ! Welcome to the Zoom Community. I just realized you didn't receive a reply to your post. Are you still having this issue? If so, please check out the following knowledge base article and let me know if that helps! -us/articles/115003279466-Using-and-preserving-original-sound-in-a-meet...

Hi we have exactly the same problem, also with an Asus laptop and I have worked for weeks trying to find a resolution. Voice is OK but the moment you turn on any music it sounds as you describe. I have tried every fix I can find on the Internet because, like you, we can't do without Internet meetings. (I also tried Google Meets but this had exactly the same issues).

Go into settings - sound and turn off the enhancements which include noise cancelation. In Zoom go to audio and set the sound profile to "Original sound for musicians" and in advanced, set the sound profile to none (raw). This all helped slightly for me but is not the complete answer.

It hasn't completely solved the problem for us and I hope Zoom comes up with a fix or a way to go back to a previous version of Zoom that worked fine in this environment, otherwise, we will have to try Skype, Teams or some other program, which will be a pain.

That's it! In Zoom I have disabled the automatic adjustment for the microphone and turned it up to full then set to original sound and, in advanced settings, set the noise cancelling to off (Raw) or on default. Not sure if that made any difference but my system is now up and running correctly.

I regularly use my laptop's integrated video camera in GoToMeeting and it works just fine. Zoom, however, will not show any video. I have downloaded the latest version, I have checked my privacy settings which show that Zoom has access to my camera. I have rebooted my laptop since installation of zoom. The camera light shows "on" on the laptop when I start a meeting, but nothing shows in the preview or to people on the call with me.

- occasionally you may have another app open that is using the camera and tying up the camera in such a way that it can't be shared with other apps. Microsoft Skype for example is one I have seen do this. If you can completely exit out of any apps that might be using the camera and try Zoom again that would be great.

You can even do this when you are not in a meeting. Click on Video, and you will see some camera choice options there. If your camera is recognized by Zoom you will see a small picture of yourself in camera.

I have gone into settings and confirmed everything. When I turn Video on, the light shows on my laptop's webcam. But the screen for preview is black. I have no other video software apps running at the time. This only happens for Zoom.

Hi @Kathy7 thank you for the additional detail. Ok, if you have for sure exited out of any other program that may be using your camera, and still no video, we may need to completely uninstall the Zoom client and start fresh. If you could follow these steps -us/articles/201362983-How-to-uninstall-Zoom

I have uninstalled and re-installed the zoom client already. I just did it again just to make sure, and same exact thing, black screen. It never prompts me to give permission to access my camera or microphone, like most video software does. I also closed Microsoft Teams just in case that was interfering. Same thing.

I uninstalled Zoom and reloaded it. My video still will not come on. It has defaulted to Cyberlink Web Cam Splitter. I do not have an external camera, only the one built in to my Dell Desktop. My video is totally muted. I cannot control it.

I have a Dell desktop with an integrated camera. I have uninstalled and installed Zoom, I have removed Skype and Teams from my desktop, I ran a diagnostic with Dell to test the camera and still Zoom is not showing my video.

Zoom video doesn't work on my Dell xps Intel evo I5 laptop (not sure if this is the right description). Video works on all other apps and features on the laptop and i have just spent 1 hr troubleshooting with Dell who say there is nothing wrong with the laptop, it is a zoom issue. I have googled and searched zoom community and followed all the tips and trouble shooting in general terms from uninstalling, reinstalling, logging in and out, security checks, windows checks, camera setting checks, browser security checks. I have tried the zoom app and the browser and to no avail. Please help.

Purchased new HP laptop and the pinch zoom is driving me insane, old laptop had an option to turn off via the Settings for the mouse/touchpad under device settings. No device setting tab can be found under the mouse settings or advanced settings, let alone a check box to turn off. HP support centre chap said it is no longer an option available but that seems wrong!!!!

In replying to your question, the IT folks are just telling you how you would turn off pinch zoom if the option to do so were still present. They don't seem to realize that for many users IT'S NOT THERE ANYMORE. It's been removed as a configuratino option from the touchpad settings. I have the same problem. The pinch zoom was driving me nuts and there is no longer any way to turn it off. I tried for weeks to find a solution. I even found some instructions on how to disable it in the Windows Registry but that didn't work either.

Most of the time pinch zoom was causing headaches was when I was browsing the internet. I use Chrome as my browser so I found and installed a Chrome Add On named Zoom Block that disables automatic zooming in Chrome. (Note that you can still zoom when you want to by clicking a Zoom button the extension adds to your browser's toolbar. If you use IE/Edge, Firefox, or etc. check to see if there's a similar extension for your browser.

I had this problem, and was driving me crazy but you can fix it by going into the start menu, seach for Synaptics Touchpad App. Then you can find the settings and turn off pinch Zoom etc. UPDATE There is still a bug, in that Even once you turn it off, it still zooms in sometimes and messes up FB. So turn off 2 finger scrolling, turn on Chiral 1 finger scrolling, (which means moving your finger in a circle.) there is a little settings symbol, scrolling with the arrows is also a solution.

My computer called the Touchpad device an Elan Touchpad - so I searched for that on the internet. I first downloaded/installed a new Elan Touchpad driver, but that did not add a disable button under windows device settings.

Then I searched for Elan Touchpad again and found a control panel/settings program on the Microsoft store and I downloaded/installed that successfully. Then if I bring up the Elan Touchpad Settings Program from the Windows Programs - I can configure the Touchpad to disable all those 2 finger gestures - such as annoying for me pinch to zoom feature. I don't know if I really needed to update the driver first or not.

I have a brand new HP Pavillion B&O laptop - zoom is driving me crazy but when I follow online suggestions to disable, I get as far as selecting the touchpad, but there is no option relating to zoom - please help! If I can't fix this, I will be returning this laptop as it's impossible to work with right now!

Try going to Settings then Touchpad then Additional Settings (on right), then Settings (in mouse properties window) then Gestures and then unclick Pinch Zoom. Hope this helps. I have an HP pro laptop and use Windows 10 and Chrome.

Yeah so iv read about and found that quiet a few people can zoom in with a sniper. Changing keys, using x z, mouse wheel but nothing... if anyone knows how to fix this please help. btw it was fine on my old pc, used same gta and same mouse.

Well..., that doesn't make sense. I can't see how you could have configured a new control without it actually doing something in game. Maybe you missed something. The configuration UI is a bit awkward. Make sure the key/button you specified is listed for the line of the action to be performed. Usually 2 or 3 controls can be defined for each action.

However, the pinch gesture does not zoom in/out in the probe window, but just repositions all the probes that are present. Therefore, if I have probes deployed, I cannot efficiently position them on signatures for scanning.

One way to fix the problem is to pile some books under your laptop to help elevate your webcam. Then, it will be able to point at you more horizontally. But that unstable solution is hardly a permanent fix.
