Command & Conquer Tiberian Dawn and Covert Operations come with low quality, Mono 22kHz AUD files. This pack replaces all of the in-game music tracks with Stereo, 48kHz, high quality versions. These tracks were taken from various sources, and are the best quality I could find on the internet. I was able to convert the WAV files to the C&C .AUD format using Blade's awesome new program, Audioset. Audioset allows Stereo WAV files to be converted to Stereo .AUD files, which are recognized just fine by C&C.
39 Tracks are included, which updates all the music from C&C and Covert Operations, as well as the hidden extra tracks. Even "Ride of the Valkyries" has a higher quality version, and "I Am" is replaced with the extended original version.
NOTE: There are 5 tracks in here that now have vocals: Act on Instinct, Stop Them, In Trouble, No Mercy, and Just Do It Up. I tried to find high quality versions that do NOT have vocals to remain loyal to the tracks that came with C&C, but unfortunately, they do not exist (I contacted Frank Klepacki about this). As such, I used the only high quality versions available, which have vocals. If you do NOT like the vocals, you can disable these 5 tracks using the following method: drag the file "themes.ini" out of the folder called "No Vocals", and overwrite themes.ini in your C&C folder. Alternatively, you can open up themes.ini, and disable individual files by changing "HasAlternate=Yes" to "HasAlternate=No". Keep in mind that if you disable the tracks with vocals, the original low quality versions will be used instead.
I think its worth noting that the versions with lyrics were as far as I know the ONLY versions on the Saturn edition. The original DOS version (and IIRC the localised C&C95 versions) also contain the lyric versions as hidden extras and they could be enabled by specific lines added to conquer.ini. I don't recall exactly where I heard/read it but I believe that the lyric versions were the intended tracks and that a decision was made higher up that they might confuse players with the regular unit feed back speech and thus were changed.
As for the topic of lyrics/vocals, what Blade says is true (I just didn't feel like typing all that in the first post). Frank Klepacki himself confirmed for me a few weeks ago that the versions with vocals are how he intended the tracks to be. The game producers decided that the vocals interfered with the speaking/commands in the game, so they had Frank remove them, and kept the originals as alternate/hidden tracks. Unfortunately, the non-vocal versions in high quality do not exist anymore. They were probably deleted after being added to the game in lower quality.
I personally notice a huge difference! I uploaded a youtube video to compare the tracks side by side, so you can hear for yourself. Rain in the night especially sounds different, with the original having so much feedback in it.
I actually bought the Japanese Sega Saturn version on ebay, because I wanted the official Japanese dubbed videos, and the Sega Saturn version has them in vqa format, meaning they can be used on PC without any conversion.
I'm kind of a noob to this franchise (haven't tried playing C&C since I was a kid), but why are some of the tracks there not available to buy on iTunes? Heck, I can't find downloads of all 38 tracks that I can listen to anywhere, am I just dumb or looking in the wrong places?
Due to the fact that I have ripped all music from all the different versions of the first two games plus expansions from their original game media of PC, Sega Saturn and PSX, together with the soundtrack CDs it is safe to say that I should have almost all source files in high quality as far as is goes.
Due to the fact that I have ripped all the diff. system versions of CnC and RA, I now also, as well as you have several higher res. version of songs that were only in Mono in the PC version. For example, the Sega Saturn and PSX versions of Tiberian Dawn have Redbook Audio and XA audio tracks used for some songs, making them higher quality and stereo as compared to the PC counterpart.
But this is not true for all tracks. The track "Demolition" from Tiberian Dawn in NOWHERE TO BE FOUND except in the PC version. It is not used/present in the game data of the PSX version, nor is it used/present in the SSaturn game data. it is ONLY USED in the PC-version. Neither is it featured on the Soundtrack CD.
You, however have EVERY song in the pack as stereo so I was wondering where you aquired the stereo versions for these few tracks that were only as mono versions present in the PC game and not only hte soundtrack CD as well. I hope you understood what I meant. Even ripping ALL games from EVERY SYSTEM, also checking the soundtrack CDs, I am still missing some stereo version that you, curiously enough, DID FIND somewhere...
Story: Freddy Krueger is haunting Elmo's dreams. You must find the radios to wake up and escape Freddy's Nightmare, but beware, Freddy is fast and deadly so if he spots you, he'll catch you and stab you with his claw glove. Will you be able to escape his Nightmare?
So, I guess someone had to make a Nightmare on Sesame Street game eventually, cause I don't think anyone has ever done one. The only Sesame Street horror game I've heard of is that Alphabet Lane game on gamejolt. But no one (I think) has ever made a crossover Nightmare on Sesame Street game before. So here it is, a really random kinda short game that I'm sure you'll enjoy.
Remember to report any and all bugs, and if you want some improvements to the game, let me know and I'll try to add them as soon as I can. Also If you find the game too easy or hard, or too fast or too long, let me know and I'll try to fix it.
Since this game was made in an older version of UE4, some newer generation CPUs and GPUs may have this strange crashing issue. The quickest solution is to disconnect from your wifi before launching the game and it should run smoothly. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Love it, Elmo is truly in the dangerous territory as a terrible fate has stumbled upon him. Now he must figure a way out of evil nightmares surrounding him. Humour is strong but it can be nerve racking when it wants to. Great experience overall. Thank you for making this! 3rd game.
Even tho I complained about how hard it was the whole time I had so much fun playing this! and I LOVE the elmo voice acting its amazing! xD Here's my blind reaction to the game if youre interested in checking it out!! Thanks!
Well, you don't really need anything per say. Just double click the application to play it. However, if you tried launching the game through the folder you downloaded it in without unzipping it, you won't be able to play the game since it's a .rar folder. If you didn't unzip it, you'll need an unzipping program like winrar in order to access the folder's contents. The reason it's zipped is basicly a way for me to compress and upload the game onto this site with minimal space being taken, so I'm sorry if it's a minor annoyance, haha. But if you did already unzip the folder, then you'll just need to double click the application to play.
Havn't played alot of your games man, but seriously. Probably my favourite game dev just from everything i've watched from 8-Bitryan and 8-Bitgaming. Keep it up, your style is super unique and it's alot of fun to watch (and) play. :D
Hello dave came to tell you that if you lend me the song that you composed in your game, "Nightmare on sesame street" in the part where you wake up from the dream but is in another dream of freddy, I'm not getting an income and I'll leave you credits in the description of the video, the video will be uploaded to youtube
You mean the NES mode or the hidden easter eggs that require you to cheat? If you mean the hidden easter eggs that require you to cheat, you have to press ` to open the command console (English keyboard only) then type the command ghost, which allows you to phase through walls. Explore the entire map of the first level and you'll find em both I'm sure. The first one requires you to be at second floor elevation, if you fly around you'll find the easter egg hidden on a rooftop, type the command walk to stop phase walking and get back on your feet. Here, you should be able to read the text on the sign. The second easter egg requires you to be at ground level, fly around the map and you might find the hidden text.
I'm running Firefox 68.9.0 ESR, and it keeps whining about an update being available. I don't care, because every time I update, one of the extensions I use every day is disabled without my permission. How do I get firefox to shut up about it once and for all? In other words, where is the "do not check for updates" command hidden, or, how else can I shut this thing up? I have, in the past, liked firefox, but it has, over the last few years, supported less and less of features I use daily, at a minimum, many times/day for most.
So how do I shut these annoying alerts about an update I have NO intention of installing off? "You can't" is not a valid answer. Nor is "just upgrade and lose half of the stuff (again) that you use all the time." Sorry if I sound angry, but these constant annoyances (and Thunderbird is doing the same---so same question for it here) are really getting on my nerves.
