Hi, everyone. My name is Amber and I live and work on a small
privately owned fiber farm in central Texas, The McRanch. We raise
angora goats, llamas, alpacas, and sheep. This is the owner’s
retirement and she is in it for the love of animals and the love of
fiber ; not for the love of money. Because she is such an animal
lover we now have 125 fiber animals and that equals a LOT of fiber.
Way more than we could ever need for personal use. When I came on
here at the ranch, it became my job to figure out how to keep all this
beautiful functional fiber from going to waste which would mean
artisans would lose out on it also. So, among having raw fiber
available for sale we also have processed fiber in many different
stages. We have roving, yarn, batts, batting, felt blankets, and
rugs. I may be leaving something out.
Our prices are the lowest I have been able to find. This does not
reflect quality, we thoroughly inspect all fiber and only sell the
BEST quality. The prices are so low so that we can make room in our
studio for new fiber that should be coming in from the mill soon. We
have an online store where you can look at all that we have and I hope
you will enjoy yourself. Make sure you look past the first 2 pages,
as the last things I put up were the rugs and that is what will come
up first. We have more battings than what I have listed so, if you
have ANY questions please email me. Thank you so much for reading and
we hope to hear from you soon! Here is the link to our online store:
