Just wondering if anyone can provide some last-minute advice on what
to charge of a full-page (8.5x11) B&W ad for a medical journal. (Will
alternate monthly w/ a 1/3-pg ad I'll be designing after this one, not
sure what to charge there either.) Not a project I've done before, so
I'm having a hard time coming up with a flat fee (per client request)
since I'm not really sure how long it will take me. Trying to figure
out how many revisions to include in the flat rate, too. Thx!

Tania, I'd do my best to estimate how many hours it might take me (done anything similar size or format?), and base your flat rate on that. Don't underbid yourself. You can always base on a range of hours, say 4-8, and offer the client a rebate if it's less?

For me, depending on how difficult the client / info is, it would take 2-3 hours, with another 1-2 hours for up to 3 revisions... - Kiki

Kiki -- thanks very much for your input! (And for putting together the CU site/group) :)
