CLT Blog has launched a redesigned site, adding social features and moving ever closer to their future vision of a mass-participation collaborative journalism model.
The
Charlotte Chamber and the
Arts & Science Council hosted the
Creative
Industries Engagement kick-off meeting yesterday. A couple dozen
representatives from business and arts organizations gathered to
brainstorm ideas related to engaging the creative community in
Charlotte toward a prosperous future.CABA (Charlotte Area Bicycle Alliance) meeting Monday, September 14th. Guest Speaker – Robert Cook – transportation planner for City of Charlotte to talk about how Federal stimulus funds for b
ike and road projects are selected for Charlotte and Meck County and the role of MUMPO and citizen input in this process.
Pecha Kucha Night is having its 4th event in Charlotte next Thursday evening at Hart Witzen Gallery.
The Community Mosaic Project organized by the
Charlotte Art League and
Ciel Gallery has been installed (along the front wall of the Camden St gallery) and the
unveiling celebration is September 19th.
During the month of September, the
Cultural Free For All offers free arts, science, history and heritage events across Mecklenburg County.
BarCamp Charlotte #2 is being organized, to take place on October 17th at Area Fifteen.
